Show that $A\sin \omega t+B\cos \omega t=R\sin \left(\omega t-\delta \right)$, where $R=\sqrt{A^2+B^2}$ and $\delta$ is the angle defined by $R\cos \delta =A$ and $R\sin \delta =-B$.
