Introduction:

Water molds are the protists which have filamentous structures resembling fungi, they are also known as oomycetes or oomycote. These are absorptive in nature, reproduces sexually and asexually by producing oospores and zoospores respectively. Water-molds resemble fungi but differ in a number of ways. We can notice very few pathogens like dinoflagellates.
