Introduction:
The tough outer coat of the eye is known as sclera and is popularly termed as the “white of the eye.” It covers the outer surface except for the front, known as the cornea, through which light passes. The sclera is continuous with the cornea. The eye has both skeletal and smooth muscle. The smooth muscle of the eye is known as the ciliary muscle.
