Introduction:
Bones are the living tissues that grow in width and length through adolescence, whereas some continue to enlarge till the age of 25 years. There are total 206 bones present in the skeleton and they are classified as part of the appendicular or axial skeleton. Appendicular skeleton comprises of the bones that are present within the pelvic and pectoral girdles and the limbs attached to them.
