Explanation of Solution
Examples of responsible technology:
Responsible technology is the application of appropriate scientific knowledge for practical purpose. This technology holds responsibility to the environment at each stage or process of production of any goods. Each process required for a production of any specific product shows environment friendly behavior. Responsible technology gives its contribution in the development of the humanity without any compromise with quality standards of the environment.
Examples of responsible technology are:
- Genetic modification of organisms.
- Agricultural genetics or genetically modified crops
Genetically modified organism and genetically modified crops do not cause any harm to the environment and only gives its contribution in the betterment of the humanity. Genes from one species is collected and transferred into other species in order to produce some better result.
Definition of responsible technology:
Responsible technology is defined as the application of scientific facts for practical purpose which holds responsibility to the environment at every level of production.
Production of any product requires a sequence of steps, if each step in the process of production of product do not create any harm to the environment then this type of technology is said to be responsible technology.
Practice of responsible technology by society:
“No”, society has not practiced responsible technology over the last 100 years...
