(B)
To describe: The reflex.
Introduction: The nervous system plays an important role in transmitting the reflexes from the tissues to the brain. The neuron is the functional unit of the nervous system. It consists of the cell body, axon, and dendrons. Based on the function, the neurons are classified as the sensory neurons, motor neurons, and interneurons. Another classification of neurons includes the unipolar neurons, bipolar neurons, and multipolar neurons, which depends on the structure of the neurons
(C)
To describe: The spinal reflex.
Introduction: The spinal and the brain make up the major part of the central nervous system. The spinal is a tube-like structure that begins from the medulla oblongata of the brainstem and extends toward the lumbar region of the vertebral column. The reflexes of the spinal cord can function without the input of the brain.
