Introduction: The spinal cord is the tube like structure that begins from the medulla oblongata of brainstem and extends towards the lumbar region of the vertebral column. The structures of the spinal cord includes posterior medial sulcus, posterior gray commissure, grey matter, white matter, anterior median fissure, anterior gray commissure, lateral white column etc.
