Mention whether ethics on buying in on a cost and material project is acceptable from categorical imperative and utilitarian point of view:

Kant’s Categorical Imperative:

Categorical imperative is that in all situations the complete requirements must be followed and it should be acceptable as an end in it.

• According to Kant One is being ethical if he or she is willing to publish their work. This is called Sunshine Law.
• Estimating material costs is ethical only if everyone is as transparent as possible. In a negotiation it can be observed that not everything needs to be transparent and for a confidential strategic push; some parts needs to be transparent.
• As some companies may want higher profit margins than others, these material costs are kept confidential...
