Chapter 12.5, Problem 21BYGO
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The nervous system is a complex network of nerve cells. Neurons are the basic unit of the nervous system. Some chemical signals are secreted by neurons which have a long term effect on the synapses. These chemical signals are known as neuromodulators. The neuromodulators modulate or adjust the neuron group activity in a number of ways: presynaptic neuron increasing the neurotransmitter release, reuptake of the rate of neurotransmitter is altered and so forth.
