Electronic-Commerce:

• Electronic Commerce is generally called as E-Commerce.
• E-Commerce is defined as a commercial transaction or the process of buying and selling goods and services over the internet.
• Electronic commerce operates in all four of the major market segments:
  • Business to Business
  • Business to Consumer
  • Consumer to Consumer
  • Consumer to Business.
• E-Commerce allows the customers to electronically exchange the information and services without any time and distance barriers.
