Question
Chapter 12.8A, Problem 1A
Summary Introduction
To divide:
Each tidal pattern into approximately 1-week segments that corresponds to 2 weeks of spring tides and 2 weeks of neap tides.
Introduction:
Tidal activity is the daily rise and fall of sea level that is initiated by gravitation pull by Sun and Moon on the earth. The gravity of the Moon has a stronger effect on Earth than Sun. This is because the distance between Earth and Moon is shorter than the distance between Earth and Sun.
