Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The acellular organisms are capable of invading a host cell and cause infections. Some of the acellualar organisms are viruses and prions. Cell walls are absent in acellular organism, yet they have a protein coat called as capsids. They do not have cell organelles, but only have genetic material. They are called as acellular because they do not show signs of life outside a host cell.
