Let, the no. of month when the amount to be paid for both the companies become equal be x months .

  

From the above chart:

Amount to be paid for Company A in x months = $(60 + 42. 95x )

Amount to be paid for Company B in x months = $(25 + 49. 95x )

For the calculation of time when same amount was paid:

  $\begin{array}{l}\Rightarrow 60+42.95x=25+49.95x\\ \Rightarrow 49.95x-42.95x=60-25\\ \Rightarrow 7x=35\\ \Rightarrow x=5\end{array}$

Conclusion:

Therefore, in 5 months the total amount paid will be equal.
