Introduction:
Intrapulmonary pressure is the pressure within the lungs. The amount of pressure in the lungs varies between inspiration and expiration. It is the difference among intrapulmonary pressure and atmospheric pressure that either drives in or drives out the air in the lungs. A pressure greater than the atmospheric pressure leads to expiration and lower pressure brings inspiration.
