Summary Introduction
To review:
The process of naming and numbering spinal nerves and also their classification as mixed nerves.
Introduction:
Spinal nerves are linked with the spinal cord and nerves coming from the peripheral nervous system refer to the bundles of axons, which run parallel to each other. These are associated with the neuroglia cells that are covered in multiple layers of the connective tissue. Spinal nerves are known to join central nervous system with the sensory receptors. Spinal nerve consists of posterior root containing sensory axons and anterior root containing motor axons is known as mixed nerve.
