Introduction:
The brain and the spinal cord are surrounded by the three layers of fibrous membranes that are called the meninges. The meninges membranes are soft tissues of the central nervous system of vertebrate’s bones and the skull. Dura mater is an outer layer that covers the spinal cord with loose fitting sleeve called the dural sheath. It is a tough membrane composed of many layers of dense irregular connective tissues.
