Summary Introduction
To explain:
The purpose of genome annotation.
Introduction:
Genome annotation is a process of identifying the location of all the protein-coding genes within a sequenced genome. The protein coding genes are made up of different regions, namely regulatory elements, introns and exons. The regulatory elements include promoters, enhancers, activators and response elements. The introns are the non-coding sequences present between the protein coding sequences called exons.
