Summary Introduction
To discuss:
The structure, location, and function of a tendon organ.
Introduction:
The reflexes are immediate or automatic involuntary actions for response of an external stimulus. The reflex of external stimuli sends the signals through nerves to reach the spinal cord for an immediate action. The reflexes share four important criteria, such as are quick (involves minimal synaptic delay), involuntary (automatic in nature), stereotyped reactions of muscles (predictable responses), and stimulation (response against sensory input).
