Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Cerebrum has three masses of gray matter, one of which is the cerebral cortex, which is made up of most surface of the cerebrum. Association areas are seen in the cerebral cortex, which helps in functioning of cognitive mental tasks; it is imaged under the PET and fMRI scans. This brain imaging is used for the study of brain lesions and for appropriate treatments.
