Simulation:

• Simulation refers to the method of developing a mathematical or logical model for a complex system and examining with the model to find out the result.
• There are two different types of simulation as follows:
  • Discrete event simulation:
    • It refers to a model in which the changes occur at a discrete point of time and mark those changes of the system at finite interval of time.
    • It is an activity-based simulation and the time is split into small time parts, and then the changes are marked in each part.
    • Discrete event models are represented by using entities, attributes, and events.
      • Entities are used to represent the objects in the system.
      • Attributes are used to represent the features of the system in the object.
      • Events are used to represent the interaction between the objects in the system.
  • Continuous simulation:
    • It refers to a model in which the changes of the system will be continuous and the response over time is defined using a set of differential equations...
