Chapter 14, Problem 2CC
Summary Introduction
To analyze:
The recovery of the patient Dr. Taylor by the phenomenon of neuroplasticity.
Introduction:
Dr. Taylor has suffered from stroke which has caused damage to the neurons in the brain. These neurons have a restricted potential to divide and grow to form the new cells. The growth of the neurons takes place to form the axons and dendrites, which can lead to the transfer of the stimulus to the surrounding neurons. This process is called as neuroplasticity.
