Introduction: Coronary arteries include blood vessels that supply oxygenated blood to the heart. The narrowing of the coronary arteries due to deposition of cholesterol on the arterial walls is known as coronary heart disease (CHD). As a result, the blood supply to the heart is reduced causing pain, discomfort, and tightness of the heart ultimately leading to death if left untreated.
