Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The choroid plexus region inside the ventricles produces the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The ependymal cells are present with microvilli, which secrete the cerebrospinal fluid. There are various tight junctions present in this regions around the cells lining the brain cavity. The fluid leaks out of the blood capillaries to produce the cerebrospinal fluid. The composition of the fluid is different in the blood plasma and the capillaries containing proteins, amino acids, ions, and other metabolites.
