Introduction:

Plants are mainly multicellular predominantly photosynthetic eukaryotes of the kingdom Plantae. Based on the vasculature, it can be divided in to two types, vascular plants and non vascular plants. Vascular plants are also called as tracheophytes or higher plants. Vascular plants include all seedling plants such as gymnosperms, angiosperms and pteridophytes. Non vascular plants include two groups, Bryophytes and Algae.
