Chapter 14, Problem 5RQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The plexus and peripheral nerves involved in the various muscle or body regions.
Introduction:
The peripheral nervous system includes the nerves that arise from the brain which are known as cranial nerve, and the nerves arising from the spinal cord which are called spinal nerves. The spinal nerves include both the motor and sensory nerves. The sensory nerves carry information from the body parts towards the brain, while the motor nerves transfer information from the brain to the body parts. The plexus nerves comprise afferent and efferent fibers that arise from the spinal nerves and blood vessels.
