Chapter 15, Problem 13TYR
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Autonomic nervous system with the two divisions of sympathetic and parasympathetic works together to maintain the constant homeostasis effect of the body and organ function. Their synergistic cooperation is essential, failing of which leads to drastic and fatal effect. The constant flux and reflux by these two systems are spontaneous. This spontaneous mode of action by these nervous systems in the target organ is called as autonomic tone.
