Lisa saw of her peers prompted to a partner. Overhearing this Lisa approached her boss regarding a partnership because she has surpassed her peer. Her boss replied saying she’s doing great and he can’t take the risk of a female being appointed as a partner. He also adds that she was a teacher and susceptible to making mistakes.
Lisa meets with the CEO several times over past six months regarding partnership but finally realizes that there is no chance for her to become a partner. She finally decides to leave and form her own investment firm.
