Enterprise resource planning (ERP):

It is an integrated management system of core business processes that an organization can use to gather, store, manage and interpret data from business activities. It provides continuous and integrated view of core business processes by using the common databases that is maintained by the database management system. These applications allow the system share data across various departments. It allows the flow of information between all the business functions and also manages the connections to outside stakeholders.
