Chapter 15, Problem 24SAE
Summary Introduction
To review:
The definition of biological terminology “micturition” and describe the micturition reflex.
Introduction:
The urinary system clears out nitrogenous waste in the form of urea from the body. The process through which the waste is expelled out of the body is urination or micturition. Micturition reflex is under the control of internal urethral sphincter and external urethral sphincter. When the person loses control of the voluntary external urethral sphincter, a condition called incontinence arises.
