Information Engineering:

The very important step of every organization is to ensure that the information system should support the strategic plan of the each business area.  The most commonly used methodologies in the market to ensure information system is referred as Information Engineering (IE).

• Information Engineering (IE) mainly used for the transition of strategic plan of the organization into the data and applications that will help to achieve these goals. IE mainly focuses on the data of the organization. 
• In the Organization, business data type tends to be stable, irrespective of the changes in the process of organization. 
• As the Information Engineering (IE) mainly emphasis on the data, it should decrease the impact on the data whenever the process is changed.

Information System architecture (ISA):

Implementation of the Information Engineering is a costly process that involves data planning, Resources management, well defined process, management liability, identifying critical factors.
