Government, business, educators, and individuals have opportunities to promote wise resource use at home and around the world. There are a number of labels such as ‘eco-friendly’, ‘made with 60% recycled material’ have no legal meaning but may give a false impression that using the product could have far-reaching environmental benefits. Some honest manufacturers of ‘green’ products make a sincere effort to mitigate environmental harms form their goods.
