Five types of barriers to communication and their example.
Introduction:
Communication can be defined as the process of exchanging information or the way of conveying message, information, ideas, feelings from one entity to other using words, actions, gestures, symbols, etc. It is two-way process which aims at creation of meaning and a mutual understanding between the sender of message and receiver of message.
For effective communication, it is important that the message is conveyed between communicators clearly, without any dilemma or misunderstanding or any misinterpretation. Barriers of communication are the hurdles or the problems due to which effective communication gets disrupted. For effective communication, barriers that exist should be identified first so that they can be managed efficiently and effectively.
