Explanation Introduction: Venturi meter is the most accurate flow measuring device. The venture tubes has a converging conical inlet, a cylindrical throat and a diverging recovery cone. It has two pressure taps, one at ,main pipe and other at throat. These taps are connected to the two sides of a differential manometer. It has no projection into the fluid, no sharp corners and no sudden changes in contour.
