To review:

The cranial nerve that carries postganglionic nerve fibres to the target organs innervated by three nerves, namely cranial nerve III, VII, and IX.

Introduction:

The preganglionic axons are present in the oculomotor (III), facial (VII), glossopharyngeal (IX), and vagus (X) nerves. The cell bodies belonging to these preganglionic neurons can be found in motor cranial nerve nuclei within the grey matter of the brain stem. The cranial outflow of the parasympathetic division arises within the brain and provides innervation to different organs.
