Introduction:
Out groups are the groups which find the locations of the branching points. It is useful in finding the common ancestors between the organisms in a phylogenetic tree. An out group organism has different characteristics as compared to ingroup organism. When the characteristics interfered during evolution, in the group of organisms having common ancestors is known as cladistics.
