The world is divided into four major zones based on the rainfall, exposure of solar radiation, and the air pressure. These zones are the equatorial, subtropical, subpolar and the Polar Regions. The equatorial region received maximum solar radiation and high rainfall, whereas the Polar Regions receive minimum solar radiation and rainfall.
