Introduction:
Communication can be defined as the process of exchanging information or the way of conveying a message, information, ideas, feelings from one entity to other by the use of words, actions, gestures, symbols etc. It is a two-way process which aims at the creation of meaning and a mutual understanding between the sender of message and receiver of the message.
Supportive communication can be defined as the style of communication which aims at resolving the issue between the communicators and to help them in achieving the common goal.
When a person perceives a threat in a group or from other, he develops a behaviour which is defensive that is known as defensive communication.
