A thin layer of skin that covers and guards the eye is referred to as an eyelid. In humans, eyelid encompasses a row of eyelashes, which protects the eye from foreign particles and secretion. The eyelids composed of glands, namely sebaceous glands, tear glands, sweat glands, and meibomian glands.
