Security is the protection to the data in the database from the unauthorized user. The advantage of having security is:

• It minimizes the risk of the organization.
• It protects the access of the unauthorized user.
• It provides set of guidelines to the user.
• It provides the awareness of security policy so everyone, employees, management; external user of the organization knows the score.
