Introduction:
The brain as well as the spinal cord is found enclosed in a protective case known as meninges. There are three membranes, pia, dura, and arachnoid mater. The CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) is found between the pia and the arachnoid mater, which protects the membranes from ischemia and provides buoyancy.
