Methylobacteria are a genus of Rhizobiales. Methylobacterium is a Gram-negative, non-motile, rod-shaped, fastidious, pink-pigmented bacterium. It normally disseminated in the environmental sources like sewage, soil, and leaf surfaces. These species form pink-color colonies on the agar plates. It also isolated from the hospital tap water.
