Chapter 1.7, Problem 19CYP
Summary Introduction
To analyse:
How is the process of evolution responsible for the millions of different species on the Earth and their adaptation to its diverse habitats; and cite examples for the same.
Introduction:
Evolutionary changes occur when the environment poses some challenge or exerts pressure for the survival of an organism. Organisms then adapt and incorporate some structural or functional changes. Organisms with changes that help in the survival of the organism are retained and inherited; while the rest are eliminated.
