If an aluminum weighs 165 lb/ft^3, How much will a 12-in dia. sphere weigh when immersed in water?
Hi, I am having trouble understanding this scenario and any help would be very appreciated. :)
I have three bars of 6061 aluminium alloy and I want to two graphs showing all of their performances. The three bars have the data as follows;
Bar 1:
Cross Sectional Area = 10 mm2
Length = 40 cm
Bar 2:
Cross Sectional Area = 20 mm2
Length = 40 cm
Bar 3:
Cross Sectional Area = 10 mm2
Length = 70 cm
(a) how would I make a graph showing the three bars' structural performance in tension?
(b) how would I make a graph showing the three bars' performance in tension till their yield?
Any help would really be appreciated thank you!
