Introduction: The pressure exerted by one component of a mixture of gases is known as its partial pressure. Partial pressure is commonly expressed in mm Hg.

To calculate: The partial pressure of 10% oxygen, 15% nitrogen, 1% argon, and 25% carbon dioxide in dry air.
Introduction: The pressure of an individual gas in the mixture of gases is known as the partial pressure of the gas (Pgas).
