Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Immunology has three applications. They are active immunization by vaccination, passive immunization using antibodies or immunoglobulins, and immune testing. Immunization is a process that makes a person immune against infection. A biological preparation that offers immunity against a particular disease is termed as vaccine. Infectious diseases are more likely controlled by vaccination.
