The hormonal interaction involved in “Insulin decreases the blood glucose level and glucagon increases the blood glucose level.”
Introduction:
The hormones present in extracellular fluid changes their concentration in every movement and produce physiological responses which are coordinated. The cell responds to multiple hormones. The islet cells present within the pancreas, releases the hormones: insulin and glucagon. When the blood glucose level is high, then insulin is secreted in blood and when the level of the glucose is low in the blood then the glucagon is secreted.
