The two figures represented in figure 18.4 and determine the condition, in which the capillary bed of the calf muscles would be in from if calf raise is performed at the gym.

Introduction:

The exercise and warm up of the muscles result in the change in the blood temperature and blood flow. The conditioning of the calf muscles is required for a longer durability in the efficiency of its functions. The calf raise exercise involves an additional demand of power supply through the blood to the calf muscles.
