Endocrine system consists of endocrine glands. These are ductless glands that secrete their hormones directly in the blood. Some of the major endocrine glands are the pituitary gland, ovaries, thymus, testes, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, pineal gland, and adrenal gland.
