Chapter 19, Problem 10BS
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The invasive species which are of greatest concern in an individual’s area and how to identify and control them.
Introduction:
Invasive species are those species which invade into a region from a different region with an intention to harm the host environment and damage their economy. Invasive species having the adverse effects on the economy, environment, and public health of a particular region. Invasive species spread into a particular area and cause damage to their environment and economy. They have an opportunistic life history pattern.

Can anyone suggest any scholarly journals, articles, reports, whatever you could help out with that covers the following question. What are considered other problematic species that can pose significant threats, possibly due to population declines from habitat loss or overexploitation?
NOT on INVASIVE SPECIES, I have more than enough information on that subject.

They found that, as of 2005, approximately 50,000 species had been introduced in the United States and that these accountedfor over $120 billion in economic costs each year. These costs include direct losses and damage, as well as costs required to control the species. (The researchers did not quantify monetary estimates for losses of biodiversity, ecosystem services, and aesthetics, which they said would drive total costs several times higher.) Calculate values missing from the table to determine the number of introduced species of each type of organism and the annual cost that each imposes on our economy.
