Introduction:

Mycoplasma is a genus of prokaryotes, in which cell wall is not present over their cell membranes. As they do not consist of cell wall, many antibiotics that target cell wall cannot affect Mycoplasma.

Viruses are “acellular entities” that are considered as small infectious agents. Viruses are known to infect all the life forms present on earth, from microbes to plants and animals. Viruses were discovered by Dmitri Ivanovsky.
